The 1920s-1930s
1/2 oz tinVegan

Note: If you have tried solid perfumes before, you know they can be a little hard, but these will melt nicely with a little bit of heat from your fingers.

Solid perfumes have been around since antiquity, always having different names like unguents or pomatums. Some of these had specific uses and were meant to be used on the hair or body. Even the Victorians had solid perfumes. So we hope you enjoy this lovely scent in a more portable option!

The historical labels for the lilac lily read -"Delightful After Shaving & For The Toilet & Bath."
Lilacs and Lilies are a classic fresh springy scent that you can't go wrong with!! It's a classic historical '20s-'30s.

OK so how do you use solid perfumes?

For our solid perfumes, we suggest breaking that top layer. You can use a finger and apply it to the skin at the pulse points. You can also take a piece of cloth or a sponge and put some of this on and put it in your aromatherapy lockets.

If you adore the smell of lilies and lilacs, this is the scent for you. By the 1920's perfumes and toilette waters had more variety because of perfume fragrances, this also started the solid perfumes which became popular in the late 1800s. Fragrances were all the rage- especially for plants that don't produce essential oil, like Lilac. Women were now able to enjoy these rare fragrances all year round and they lasted longer and were less expensive than the old-school real flower oils. This solid perfume matches their scent perfectly and can be used as much as you wish. Enjoy this lovely scent. It's so fresh and heavenly. Think Downton Abbey Spring time.

So Art Deco!

Please note: These are formulated for warmer climates. If you live in a colder climate, you will need to keep it warm in your pocket or in the sun on the dash of the car.
