This gorgeous 1930s gown is truly the most stunning shade of silver! It is a satin crepe made from “Celanese” a famous synthetic acetate fabric! The makers date back to 1912 and much lingerie and nightwear was made of it in the 20s, 30s and so on in England! It is remarkably durable and oh so silky!
This exceptional bias cut gown features beautiful lace, charming embroidery and fagotted seams! It is the epitome of elegance! There are small belt loops, but alas, no belt! A ribbon in its place would be charming, though it hangs beautifully as is.
This gown is structurally in very good condition but does show wear and have a few spots of damage, as seen in the final picture montage. It is as presented and can certainly be worn for leisure and as shown, it shoots beautifully!
This gown is a bias cut and will fit several sizes quite nicely!
