FAQ's, shipping rates + curbside pick-up
All items are listed in Canadian Dollars.
All bottoms sizes are in US/Canadian unless otherwise specified. Many of our bras are UK sized but we also have bras in EURO and US sizes, always read the description!
Our Dovercourt boutique is open by appointment for in person private shopping! We are also open Wednesdays and Saturdays 12-5 pm for casual shopping - no appointment necessary!
We offer in boutique pick-up Wednesday 12-5 pm and Saturday 12-5pm.
If you select in boutique pick-up please ensure you can come by during these times.
Please note that you will receive notification once your order is ready at the shop - please check your spam/others folder too!
Please note that we ship via Canada Post and they, as well as most postal services, are often overwhelmed and your parcel may arrive later than anticipated. I aim to get orders packed and shipped within days to maximum one week of receiving the order, but once it's been passed off to Canada Post timing is out of my hands. I appreciate your patience very much!
*It is reasonable to expect Canada Post delays, If you are local I strongly recommend curbside pick-up if possible.
Shopping in the U.S? We've added DHL Express Service, a much quicker and more reliable delivery option
Please note that if you choose Standard Shipping via Canada Post/USPS, that any delays or mishaps after being passed off to the Post are out of our hands. While I am more than happy to assist in the rare occasion of a missing or very delayed parcel, ultimately it is USPS who is responsible.
Local Delivery :
Unfortunately we do not have access to the door to door service once provided, so all orders are shipped via regular post. However, orders within the GTA and most of Canada should still arrive in 2-5 business days from fulfillment.
Please feel welcome to reach out if you would like your order to be sent within the GTA via your preferred courier that you will arrange and I can let you know what time your parcel will be available for courier pick-up.
Where are the items you sell made? Do you support sweatshops?
Items at Gigi's are made all over the world!
Dottie's Delights, Inspiration Vintage, Only Hearts Lingerie, LBCC Historical and Besame Cosmetics are all based and made in North America.
Uye Surana is based in NYC and pieces are made there in studio or in Columbia.
Dita Von Teese Lingerie is based in Australia and produced in China.
Aubade, Lise Charmel and Antigel are based in France and produced in Tunisia.
What Katie Did is based in England and manufactures a few items there and the rest in India, while their hosiery is made in Italy. Bettie Page Lingerie/ Playful Promises are also based in the UK and manufactures in China.
We only work with companies/brands/indie designers who share our anti-sweatshop values. We believe in fair wages and safe working environments.

Do you Special Order in items?
Most of our selections are considered "fashion" so once sold out - they are gone forever!
However...
We do order in items for clients, mainly local clients, from What Katie Did - we will add your items to our next order, if you would like to try a WKD piece we do not normally carry. Please note we now only place WKD orders 2-4 times a year.
From Inspiration Vintage, when we are sold out in a size of a current se as long as she still has the fabric/trims.
We are also able to order in Aubade and FitFully Yours permanent collection pieces, and sometimes fashion, quite swiftly for a small surcharge.
Select other pieces may be available for special order as well but most lines we carry are fashion and once they are sold out, we cannot re-order.
How much is shipping and how often do you ship?
With postal prices rising once again, we have made the decision to return to "calculated" shipping rates for the time being as it seems the most fair. I hope you will understand!
Canada : calculated at checkout or FREE standard shipping over $375 CAD (except during particularly "epic" sales)
U.S.A : calculated at checkout or via DHL Express. Free Standard shipping on orders $450 CAD + (except during particularly "epic" sales) . Please note if you select uninsured/untrackable mail service that we are not liable for any lost or otherwise undelivered goods, it is highly recommended you choose a trackable/insured service.
Worldwide : Calculated via Canada Post, please keep in mind if you choose untracked/uninsured that this is unprotected and uninsured - we are not liable for undelivered goods. We also offer express trackable delivery via DHL for $100 CAD.
Items typically ship within 2-5 Gigi's business days of the order being placed. If there is a delay in order fulfillment time, we will contact you. Canada Post service delays are beyond our control, and we suggest choosing tracked shipping.
Will I have to pay Duties and Taxes?
Canadian shoppers will be charged taxes at checkout and will not incur any further charges upon delivery.
USA and International customers may have to pay taxes and duties upon delivery. This is out of our control and we do not refund these charges or accept return packages due to unpaid duties/taxes.
Are vintage items laundered?
Yes, all vintage items are laundered or steam cleaned before entering our shop or being listed online. Even though many are deadstock, we want to ensure items are fresh when they arrive to you! The only vintage items we don't launder are unworn and in the package nylon stockings.
I prefer to "try before I buy", do you have a brick + mortar boutique?
We sure do! Our lovely boutique is located at 731 Dovercourt Road, just south of Bloor Street West, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada! We would love for you to visit one day in the future!
